Introduction

My experience comes from five years at R/GA, where I Designed and Shot Main Titles for Feature Films (Home Alone, Goodfella's, Silence of the Lambs, etc.. .), did Stop-Motion, Traditional, and FX Animation, and Model/Set Design. At Click 3X, (for five years) I did all the Design, Supervised and Directed the FLAME, and CG artists, and did Visual FX Supervision, Art Direction, and Model/Set Design. Simultaneously, I worked at Peter Corbett and Company (which while I was there later became Full Blue) doing Visual FX Supervision, Art Direction, and Model/Set Design, and Production Design. I had my own design company at 89 Greene Editorial (a subsidiary of Crossroads Films) called 89 Design for almost 3 years. In addition to the previously mentioned tool set, I began Directing and decided to open my own company to further pursue those goals, it was called Voodoo Design & Visual FX. At Voodoo, I Directed both Award Winning National Advertising Campaigns and Music Videos. I have Directed and worked with The Beastie Boys, Bouncing Souls, Flogging Molly, Michael Jackson, etc... I was there for an additional three years. I decided to take the company to the next level, leaving the name behind and opening Saucer Attack! Design & Visual FX and Vignette Editorial. Having done so, I ended up spending most of my time away from design and creativity, which I truly live for, and was bogged down in the day to day operational minituia of running two companies. I decided to close the both of them to continue working on the creative aspect, which I have done for over twenty years.

In this day and age I prefer to think in terms of all production on an international level. My solid relationships with shops in South Africa, Dubai, India, Spain, Toronto, and the United States allow for the same production value that jobs are executed entirely out of one house, but for a mere fraction of the cost (approximately a quarter, and in some instances much less). I believe that this can be quite beneficial when working in conjunction with core teams of smaller shops (---enabling us to compete with larger venues), going after projects with budgetary or time constraints, in addition to my experience gained by working with international crews.

I have worked on projects as varied as motion pictures, advertising campaigns, and music videos. Throughout my career I have been involved on all aspects of the production and pride myself on the ability to communicate on all levels with everyone associated with what I am working on. I enjoy handling, actually juggling, multiple productions at any time. The most satisfaction I receive is working with the client from the initial concept and taking it straight through to completion.
